2018-2019 Black Eyed Susan Award Winners

The votes have been counted and over 83,000 students from across the state have selected their favorite books as part the Maryland Black-Eyed Susan Book Award program.  The student selections are:

Picture Book – The Legend of Rock Paper Scissors by Drew Daywalt (2nd win), illustrated by Adam Rex

Grades 4-6 – Wishtree by Katherine Applegate

Graphic Novels Grades 4-6 – The Witch Boy by Molly Ostertag

Grades 6-9 – Restart by Gordon Korman (5th win)

Graphic Novels Grades 6-9 – All’s Faire in Middle School – Victoria Jamieson (2nd win)

High School – One of Us Is Lying by Karen McManus
