MASL Now Offers Professional Development Activities and Transcripts
MASL now offers Professional Development Activities (PD Activities) and official transcripts to support your professional growth and Educator Licensure needs! While professional development has always been an important part of MASL’s mission, changes at MSDE and within our membership platform are allowing us to issue PD Activity transcripts that can be uploaded to The Educator Application and Credentialing Hub (TEACH) and may be approved by your LEA for Educator Licensure. This exciting new benefit makes it easier than ever to maintain your license and showcase your commitment to excellence in school librarianship.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Eligibility: All MASL members are eligible to participate in PD Activities and access transcripts.*
- How to Earn Credits: Credits can be earned by registering and attending MASL PD Activities such as workshops, webinars, and conferences.
- Accessing Your Transcript: Members can access their transcripts through the MASL member portal at https://masl.memberclicks.net/continuing-education-credits.
- Using Credits for Recertification: Simply download your transcript by clicking Export PDF. Follow the submission guidelines for your certifying body. If you need assistance, we’re here to help!
- Cost: This new benefit is included as part of your MASL membership—there’s no additional fee for transcripts. Many MASL Professional Development Activities are free for members while others are offered at a discounted rate.
- Start Date: Credits will be available for activities completed on or after October 1, 2024.
If you have any questions or need further information, don’t hesitate to contact the MASL PD Chair at [email protected]. We’re here to make this process as smooth and rewarding as possible for you.
Thank you for being a valued member of MASL. We’re excited to support your continued success and look forward to seeing how this new offering helps you reach your professional goals!
*Non-members may attend PD Activities, but will not be able to access transcripts.
